The BGC Cape Breton summer program for 2023 is in full swing with 138 youth attending from the communities of New Waterford, Coxheath, Westmount, Sydney, and Whitney Pier. Additionally, we have 12 newcomers to Canada attending our club. Our summer program is staffed with nine full-time staff members, eight summer students, and one cook.

We have a jam-packed activity schedule all summer long:

• Outings to the wildlife park

• Alexander Graham Bell Museum

• Beaches

• Water activities

• A ton of sports

• Jays Care

• Annual camping trip to Cheticamp where we will take 20 youth ages 10 and up

We have many fun activities planned to make this summer great for the youth who attend our program. We are excited to meet all kinds of new youth and look forward to a fantastic summer.
