Welcome Members to our 2017/18 School Year Program
Our RBC After School Program is off to a great start. This year we have a full house, with both the P-5 and Jr/Sr High programs filled to capacity and a rather large waitlist.
We are excited to announce one of our newest programs offered after school, Kid Food Nation, is a national program with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Canada and our club was one of the inaugural site chosen. This program will teach youth about healthy eating and living giving hands on experience with meal preparation in our spacious "learning kitchen".
Also new this year were are partnering with the CBRM to host a youth in Music program which will run for 8 weeks this fall and hopefully another 8 week program in the New Year.
There will be a parent/caregiver meeting before the end of September please watch the screen in the main foyer for more information about tie and date. All in all it's shaping up to be a great year here at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Cape Breton - WPYC. We hope your child(ren) enjoys their time with us and please feel free to contact staff at any time if you require information or to wish to help out with fundraising events.
