Michael Vickers is an Entrepreneur and Small Business banking advisor. He currently operates Powerful.Creative with his spouse, where they use apparel to promote diversity, inclusion, and empowerment.

 

Michael also serves as a Relationship Manager, Business Markets at RBC. A role that allows him to work with our local business owners as they look to grow. Prior to these positions, Michael worked with a local tech start-up and spent 8 years as a federal public servant, and served as the Communications Manager for a Member of Parliament.

 

Michael has a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Political Science & Business Administration from Saint Mary’s University. A passionate community member, Michael has coached & officiated baseball and hockey across Cape Breton, is an active volunteer with the Cape Breton Hospital Foundation, the Canadian Cancer Society, and also currently serves on the board of The Youth Project. He previously served on the board of Nova Scotia Society of the Deaf & Hard of Hearing, and the fundraising committee of the Victoria Park Society. Michael resides in Whitney Pier with his spouse of 10 years and their son, daughter, dog, and cat.
