All Aboard!!

UPDATE: The bus has arrived :)

As some of you may already know we are in the midst of purchasing a new vehicle for the club. With a growing membership comes the need for a larger vehicle to transport youth to various sites for external programs we participate in with community partners such as Soccer at the Dome, Library trips and Special Events like hockey & basketball games etc.

We are happy to report that we have secured 2/3 of the funding required to purchase the new bus. Through private donations from both individuals and local businesses we have acquired $20k and another $20k through a federal government initiative. The push is on for the last $20k needed so all fundraising efforts will focus on achieving this goal. Currently our parent group is selling 2018 calendars for $10 each and they have also partnered with the SPCA on a Halloween Dance which will be held on October 28th at the South Bar Fire Hall, proceeds will be shared between both organizations.
