NSLC Gift Card Survivor FAQ & Rules
What is a Wine Survivor Pool?
A pool where the participants win gift cards to NSLC.
There are no official teams, (although you can create your own alliances and split the winnings with your friends)
This is a fundraiser for BGC Cape Breton, and all proceeds will go to support our programs for children and youth.
When is the Collection Phase
December 3rd - 16th
What is the Entry Fee?
Entry is $40 - This purchases an NSLC gift card valued at $20 and a $20 fee
You can purchase 1 immunity pass for $5 at time of entry.
For $10 you can purchase 1 additional immunity pass if your name is drawn before December 19th to be put back in the draw.
How to Enter?

There is no limit to the number of entries per person.
When will the Elimination Draws take place?

Starting December 17th, daily FB live draws eliminate a percentage of the entries (depending on # of entries) from the pool until December 20th when the final draws will take place.

There is a guaranteed consolation prize of one $25 NSLC gift card for the first name drawn.

At the end of Pool the final 3 entries will be declared the (1st, 2nd, 3rd place)
How does Immunity work?
What is survivor without immunity……

If your name is drawn to be eliminated and you have immunity you are safe for one more draw.

If your name is drawn before December 19th, you have 24 hours to send $10 to buy an extra immunity to be safe for one more draw.
Immunity - two ways to get it:

Pay $45 entry fee instead of $40 to receive 1 immediate immunity and / or
-
Pay $10 AFTER your name has been eliminated to be entered back in for the next draw

Opt to have either one or both the immunities.

With two immunities your name needs to be drawn three times for you to get knocked out of the pool.
What's the Winners Breakdown?
1st Place gets 50% of the NSLC Gift Cards
2nd Place gets 30% of the NSLC Gift Cards
3rd Place gets 20 % of the NSLC Gift Cards
First name drawn gets a $100 NSLC Gift Card as a consolation prize.
Imagine all your holiday wine is paid for. You have a bottle to bring to every Christmas party. You can use the NSLC Gift Cards for Christmas gifts. OR if you're not a wine drinker and would like something different, use the NSLC Gift Cards for another type of alcohol or cannabis.
They allow you to do that!!

There is no limit to the amount of entries per person.

A limit of two immunities can be purchased per player.

The last day to enter is Wednesday December 15, 2021 at 11:59 pm

The last day to purchase immunity is Saturday Dec 18, 2021 at 11:59 pm

Staff and board members of BGCCB are ineligible to participate.
