My name is Taylor MacDonald. I grew up across the water in North Sydney, Nova Scotia. I have my Bachelor of Arts in Community Studies from Cape Breton university. I currently work for Cornerstone Cape Breton as the Case Manager/ Program facilitator.

Helping others and working with children, have always been things I am most passionate about. I have prior experience working with youth programs. During my time in university while completing my degree I had the opportunity to create and grow a strong, lasting, relationship with Clifford Street Youth Centre. This is where I was able to learn about the challenges and struggles kids within my own community were facing. My time at Clifford Street allowed me to understand what kind of support and tools these children need on a day-to-day basis.

As a board member it gives me a unique perspective of the Youth Centre needs and how we as their support team always have to be adaptable and driven. I am very excited to be a part of a club that provides such amazing opportunities to the children within its community.
