African Hertiage Month

The Boys and Girls Clubs of Cape Breton-Whitney Pier Youth Club will be celebrating African Heritage month this February by bringing in various guest speakers. We have some exciting members from our community scheduled to come in and speak to our youth about lots of different aspects of African culture. This month we will also have a special cooking class where we make a traditional African Heritage dish. We are all excited and eager to learn!

Science Program

The Boys and Girls Club of Cape Breton is dedicated to teaching youth viable lifelong learning skills through a variety of different programs! Our Science program offered at the BGCC-WPYC allows youth of all ages to engage in fun, exciting, hands on learning experiences that strengthens their creative minds! Our Science program allows youth to expand their creativity while having fun learning about the world around them! Our Science program provides supervision and activities in a safe, supportive environment while helping with career readiness. #afterschoolprogram

New Year, New Gear

There is one thing you can always be sure of when it comes to the youth that attended the Boys and Girls Clubs of Cape Breton-Whitney Pier Youth Club, they are proud! We are gearing up for what seems to be an exciting year of various programs at our club. 2019 brings a new year of Kid Tech Nation, Kid Food Nation, CBU basketball, Slow cooked dreams and much more! Our youth look forward to starting a new program at our club that will focus on healthy eating and exercise for girls.
